Liverpool bring the curtain down on their Premier League campaign with a trip to Southampton this afternoon.
The Reds head to the South Coast knowing that no matter what happens at St Mary’s, they will not move from the position of fifth in the Premier League table. Liverpool have already booked their place in next season’s Europa League.

Will be interesting to see how Matip adjusts to the new Alexander-Arnold instructions. Don’t think he has featured much since it was properly introduced in the second half against Arsenal last month. It definitely increases the workload on the right-sided centre-half.

One player who wouldn’t want to be rested
One player who definitely won’t have wanted to be rested for Liverpool tonight is Salah.
He only needs one more goal for another 20-goal haul in the Premier League.
And in doing so he’d become the first player to score 20 and assist 10 in three Premier League seasons.
