What the final Premier League 2023/24 table is expected to look like as Liverpool and Arsenal…

The last whistle has been blown in the 2022/23 Premier League.

We now know the 20 teams who will take part in the 2023/24 campaign, with Luton Town securing promotion from the Championship in the most dramatic fashion on Saturday in a penalty shootout, capping their magnificent rise from non-League to the Premier League in a decade.

The Hatters join Championship winners Burnley and runners-up Sheffield United in the top flight next season.

On Sunday, we learnt that, along with Southampton, Leicester and Leeds United were also relegated to English football’s second tier.

Now we know all of the teams, how is next season expected to look? Well, it’s no surprise that Manchester City are expected to be Champions again, having won their third Premier League title in three years under Pep Guardiola. They are as short as 8/15.

The others expected to make up the top-four spots, or Champions League positions, are Arsenal and Liverpool, while Manchester United and Newcastle United are priced the same for that final place.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, it’s no surprise to see some of the promoted teams tipped to go down next term. Of course, it’s incredibly early, with lots of summer recruitment to take place, but Luton Town, Sheffield United and Burnley are tipped to be next season’s bottom three. Everton’s odds, however, are yet to be determined, having secured their Premier League status on the final day.

Here is how the 2023/24 Premier League table is expected to look in 12 months’ time…

(Video) LFC departees Firmino & Milner’s heartfelt moment at Ft will have fans welling up

Liverpool will bid farewell to Bobby Firmino, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita after today’s eight-goal thriller with Southampton.

It was the opening pair that caught the eye of the Reds’ Twitter account, however, with the two cherished footballers sharing a heartfelt moment on the pitch after full-time.

The former was on target for the Merseysiders for a final time at St. Mary’s after opting not to extend his stay at Anfield despite the hopes of manager Jurgen Klopp.

Fare thee well, lads.
