TODAY NEWS: West Ham has signed one of the strongest midfielder who is Arsenal target  €150m

Nuno Tavares. As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, the 23-year-old Portuguese player, who spent his last season on loan at Marseille, has caught the eye of West Ham’s management. Arsenal, however, have put a hefty £25m asking price for Tavares’ signature.

The Stumbling Block
While the price seems fair for a player of Tavares’ caliber, there might be a significant obstacle in the way. Turkish giants, Galatasaray, are also on the lookout for Tavares. However, the player seems to have other plans.

Tavares appears less enthused about moving to either of these clubs and is speculated to be waiting for a bid from a more ‘prestigious’ club. Such an attitude could deter potential buyers. But who could blame them? This audacious stance from the Portuguese full-back may indeed change the dynamics of the negotiations in this transfer window.

The Declan Rice Chess Move
In an interesting twist Arsenal and West Ham are engaged in a game of chess involving Declan Rice. As the two London clubs edge closer to announcing Rice’s monumental move to the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal have signaled the price tag for Nuno Tavares, a player highly sought after by David Moyes.

Evidently, the negotiations between the two clubs have had a harmonious rhythm, leading many to anticipate further exchanges, not just this summer but in potential upcoming windows.

Arsenal’s Winning Streak in the Transfer Market
Mikel Arteta seems to be having a golden window in the transfer market. After securing the talented Kai Havertz, and having Rice on the horizon, it seems that Ajax’s Jurrien Timber will soon be donning the Gunners’ kit.

Meanwhile, the East Londoners have maintained a rather low profile, possibly strategizing to execute their transfer plans once the Rice move is finalised.

West Ham United are moving towards signing Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria on an initial loan deal.

With Declan Rice heading for the London Stadium exit door, David Moyes wants two new midfielders to come in and fill the gap.

Zakaria, who spent last term on loan at Chelsea, is a player Moyes rates and is keen to add to his squad, with talks.

Juventus are looking for in the region of €18m and €20m to let Zakaria go, but according to French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, a loan is in the offing.

It is claimed both parties are moving towards agreeing a deal which would see the Switzerland international sign for West Ham on a season-long loan.

West Ham would pay Juventus a loan fee for the 26-year-old and the deal could potentially contain an obligation to buy clause.

Juventus are keen to offload Zakaria and a return to the Premier League may fit the bill for the Swiss star.

Joao Felix has fuelled speculation that he could join West Ham this summer by posting a cryptic message on social media. The 23-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League following his loan at Chelsea.

Felix featured 16 times for the Blues in the English top-flight, directly contributing towards four goals. The Portugal international impressed at times, but he struggled to get his feet under the table at disjointed club.

As exclusively revealed by football.london, neither an option nor obligation to sign Felix permanently was included in his contract at Stamford Bridge. Even if the west Londoners had inserted a clause to buy the forward, Pochettino didn’t want him anyway, according to Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo.

“We’ve been informed that Pochettino does not count with Joao Felix for Chelsea,” said the Spaniard. “He will return here, we’ll see. We have nothing planned.”

football.london understands that Felix loved his time in London and he was eager to stay beyond the expiry of his loan. However, with Christopher Nkunku arriving, Chelsea have decided to not pursue a move for the Portuguese star.

While a return to west London may be off the cards, Felix has teased a switch to east London instead. On Instagram, he reposted a video of himself beginning his pre-season preparations while wearing a 2022/23 West Ham third shirt with Said Benrahma, 22, on the back.

Interestingly, the jersey was not worn against Chelsea last season with the Hammers donning the home strip in each of the clashes. Accompanying the post, Felix wrote: “@saidbenrahma11 *Algeria flag emoji* *handshake emoji*”
