REPORT:Aston Villa has offer €100million for title-winning forward Deal accepted

Napoli forward Hirving Lozano has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.

The 27-year-old Mexican will be out of contract next summer and the Italian outfit are reportedly open to selling him for the right price in the coming weeks.

According to a report from Fichajes, Aston Villa are keen on signing the player and they are ready to submit an offer of around €30 million for him.

Lozano has been a useful squad player for Napoli and he played an important role in their title win this past season. He will be looking for a new challenge now and the opportunity to play in the Premier League could be an attractive option.

It is no secret that Aston Villa will have to bring in attacking reinforcements and the Mexican would be a quality acquisition.

The 27-year-old is at the peak of his powers right now and he could make an immediate impact at the West Midlands club.

Aston Villa have been overly reliant on Ollie Watkins this past season and the 27-year-old striker clearly needs more help in the attack.

Lozano can operate anywhere across the front three and his versatility will be an added bonus. The Mexican will add pace, flair and goals to Unai Emery’s attack.

Apparently, Aston Villa were keen on signing Marco Asensio from Real Madrid but this Spanish international has chosen to move to Paris Saint-Germain and the Premier League side have now identified Lozano as his alternative.

Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is keen on joining Unai Emery’s Aston Villa ahead of the next season.
According to Football Insider, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to join Aston Villa ahead of next season. With his time at Liverpool almost up, the 29-year-old is looking to join Unai Emery’s team. As per the report, he has already informed his friends about the move.

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contract at the Merseyside club will expire at the end of the month. It was pretty clear that Liverpool won’t push for a renewal as they want to revamp their midfield ahead of next season.

While the 29-year-old was an integral part of their first team for quite a few years, his game time had reduced over the past few seasons. He was on the decline and couldn’t meet the demands of the German manager, Jurgen Klopp.

The England international featured in a total of just 13 matches for the Reds and was on the pitch for less than 500 minutes in the recently concluded season. He was no longer an important part of their first team setup and Klopp had decided to move on quite a few weeks back.

The player was informed about the decision and he was not the only midfielder who was shown the exit door. Naby Keita and James Milner also left the club after years of service. With the three leaving, Liverpool are now looking for a midfield overhaul to revive themselves after a disappointing season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to be a free agent at the end of the month and he has quite a few offers to choose from. However, it seems the 29-year-old has already made a decision. He is keen on joining Aston Villa and has already informed his friends.

Villa have done wonders under Unai Emery who is now looking to take the next step by signing experienced Premier League players ahead of next season. They have already acquired Youri Tielemans and now want to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Emery is a big admirer of the 29-year-old and he believes Oxlade-Chamberlain’s experience could come in handy. The Spanish manager is a big fan of his versatility and has managed to convince the Liverpool midfielder to join the club.

‘BIGGER CLUB’: SIMON JORDAN BACKS CHELSEA STAR TO JOIN ASTON VILLA, NOT PL RIVALS IN EUROPE

Simon Jordan has backed Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to join Unai Emery’s Aston Villa over Brighton and Hove Albion.

It was suggested to the former Crystal Palace owner that Conor Gallagher is wanted by Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton.

But he added that he would be ‘surprised’ if the Chelsea midfielder moved to the Amex Stadium, and instead, he expects a move to teams that are ‘bigger and bolder’ like Aston Villa, as he told talkSPORT (15/06/23 at 11:45 am)..

With new boss Mauricio Pochettino being able to field two or three first-team players, it’s pretty obvious that a clear-out is needed at Stamford Bridge this summer.

That’s why the future of someone like Gallagher, who is also an England international, is being questioned, with Liverpool also emerging as a surprise candidate to sign the player this summer.

Even though both Villa and Brighton are in Europe this term, Jordan explained why a move to the Midlands is better than going to the South Coast.

“There is one thing going out on loan to Crystal Palace,” said Jordan. “It’s another thing signing, you have been a moderate regular at Chelsea this season.

“Chelsea are now in a bit of a funk and they are expected to come back and be strong again next season. I would be surprised if he went to Brighton. I think he will be looking for a different kind of move. I understand the argument around Robert De Zerbi and the achievements of Brighton.

On where Gallagher would go: “It depends who is in the market for him. If the option is put to him, ‘Brighton or nowhere’, then you might find yourself at Brighton.

“But if there are a variety of different football clubs, like the Aston Villa’s of the world that might be in for him. Maybe it’s the Palace-Brighton thing.

On Brighton being in Europe, just like Villa: “I get it. But Brighton are having their moment. They are having a wonderful moment and they are a wonderfully run football club. But I think there will be a levelling off from the sides that have done remarkably well against the sides that traditionally are bigger, better and bolder football clubs.”

Gallagher needs to leave Chelsea
The 23-year-old can consider himself lucky that he gets picked for England because his minutes, nor his form, this season warrant it.

But when he was starting on a regular basis at Crystal Palace, he deservedly broke into the England set-up and proved his worth.

An all-action midfielder, with energy to burn, strong in a tackle and an eye for a goal, he needs to leave Chelsea in order to take his game to the next level because he won’t progress in the chaos of that club.
