Manchester City enter the race for Liverpool transfer target Mason Mount
Manchester City has emerged as a new contender in the race for Chelsea’s Mason Mount, joining Liverpool and Manchester United in the pursuit of the talented midfielder.
The player’s future at the Blues remains uncertain as contract negotiations stand delayed, prompting United to even discuss a substantial bid of £55m for his services. But as per Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola’s side could become a problem for Liverpool in their pursuit of Mason Mount.
The involvement of City adds a new layer of complexity to the already dicey situation. The reigning Premier League champions have shown their intent to strengthen their squad by targeting Mount, who has proven his worth with his performances for Chelsea.

Real Madrid find themselves in an interesting position at the moment. One area where they might need to improve in the near future is left-back. The future of Ferland Mendy is in doubt and there have been suggestions that the Frenchman could leave in the summer.

Robertson has had an interesting journey in football to say the least. After failing to make it at Celtic, there were many who felt that he would have a tough time establishing himself at a top level.
Now though, he has established himself as a Liverpool icon and been a key part of one of the club’s most successful eras. It has been made even sweeter by the fact that they had struggled to return to the top of English football for such a long time.
Robertson has not enjoyed a great campaign this time around. And while there have been no suggestions that he is looking for an exit, a chance to join Real Madrid might certainly interest him. Let’s see what the future holds for the Liverpool left-back as we approach the summer transfer window.
