Deal close

Alexis Mac Alliser could be the next hero for the Liverpool fans to adore with the Argentina World Cup winner reportedly close to securing a switch to Anfield from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The move for Mac Allister is likely to cost Liverpool below the £70 million that was initially stated. It has been reported he could wear the number 10 shirt at Anfield.

Player of the Season?

Who should be Liverpool’s Player of the Season? Unlike previous years, there aren’t many candidates for the prize and it is most likely to come down to who wins out of Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker.

Salah hit 30 goals in all competitions once again while Alisson was at his imperious best in goal. Where would Liverpool have been without them both?

The Reds will regroup at the start of July for pre-season, though will have to contend with Euro 2024 qualifiers before this. Due to get started in two weeks, countries will compete for the top two spots in their groups ahead of next year’s tournament in Germany. Making the most of their break ahead of these fixtures, various members of the squad have jetted off to luxurious locations in a bid to relax and soak up some sun.
