Jurgen Klopp has pleaded with Liverpool fans to stop singing his folk song during matches.
“I’m so Glad (That Jurgen is a Red)”, sung to the tune of The Beatles’ “I Feel Fine”, became a terrace favorite last season as the Reds battled it out for an unprecedented quadruple, and it has remained a constant at Liverpool matches ever since.
The song was sung often again as the Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 on Sunday. But after watching his side squander a 3-0 lead, only to score a last gasp winner through Diogo Jota, Klopp disagreed with the chant that had rang before his side’s initial slump.
