News – ‘Klopp is top’ – Club ready to agree deal to sign Liverpool manager – Report

According to an exclusive story covered by Football Insider, the Reds are preparing an approach to find out whether the Anfield legend is interested in joining the club in the summer.

Alonso will have big shoes to fill as Klopp completely transformed the Merseysiders since joining them in 2015 and has won every major title at the club.

The German coach lost the Europa League final in his first season and would love to bid farewell to Liverpool with his hands on the coveted trophy in Dublin.

Xabi is highly inexperienced in management as compared to the German but already, he is proving to be world class in the Bundesliga.

His Bayer Leverkusen side are undefeated and top the table with fourteen wins and four draws in eighteen games.

£65million playmaker has called Liverpool to move to Anfield – Decision made

Remember when Fernando Torres left us to be a flop at Chelsea. I think, Coutinho has turned out to be a bigger flop since opting to leave Anfield in the winter transfer window of 2018.

What now? Reports suggest that the Brazilian international is looking to move back to the Merseysiders in order to revive his career.

News – Liverpool backed to agree signing of “top” £53million midfielder

According to Sport, the former Inter Milan playmaker finds himself in a complex scenario. He flopped at the Nou Camp, so Barca do not want him. Moreover, even Bayern Munich are not willing to make his loan move permanent. So, the first thing Coutinho did is to call Liverpool and ask whether he can return to Anfield.

However, the decision made by the European Champions is not in favor of the Brazilian. The Spanish news outlet have mentioned that Liverpool do not want him and now other PL clubs are interested.

It is stated that in the current situation, Barca would even be willing to accept a fee of 75 million euros (£65million) from his sale.

Earlier this month, Anfield legend Phil Thompson told Sky Sports (via Goal) that he would like the Reds to re-sign Coutinho because he is a creative genius.

Klopp warned him against moving but the South American made his decision and is now regretting it big time.

We know what the 27-year-old is capable of. He was absolutely world class for us in the first half of the 2017-18 season but then thought that the grass was greener in Spain and left us.

In his absence, we won the Champions League last season and are on the verge of winning the Premier League this term. We have not missed him and Klopp has not signed any natural CAM to replace him as yet.

“Outstanding” star has agreed Liverpool move

Recent reports heavily suggested that Liverpool will be completing the signing of Takumi Minamino in the January transfer window. Now, the Merseysiders have finally confirmed that the signing will be made official when the winter transfer window opens.

Last week, as revealed by The Telegraph, Liverpool agreed a deal worth £7.25million with RB Salzburg to sign the 24-year-old.

News – Move close – Liverpool set to secure key signing – Report

The European Champions confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Salzburg and secured personal terms with the attacker, who completed his medical and will become a Liverpool player on New Year’s Day.

Liverpool already have two former Salzburg players in their ranks in the form of Sadio Mane and Naby Keita. The Reds have a great relationship (Mirror Sport) with the Austrian Bundesliga side and that has now helped them lure another “outstanding” star (The Independent).

Jurgen Klopp praised the signing and said (LFC):

“This is fabulous news – a wonderful signing. We are really, really happy about this. Takumi is a very quick, very clever player, he finds space between the lines. He is brave with the ball but also brave without the ball – a proper team player. He makes the best of himself for the benefit of others.”

Minamino was highly impressive in both the Champions League matches against Liverpool, especially at Anfield, where he netted a sublime volley goal and provided a crucial assist in the second half.

In all competitions, the attacker netted 9 goals and provided 11 assists in 22 appearances under the management of Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch this term. So far, the Japanese international has made 22 appearances for his country and scored 11 times.

He will be wearing the No. 18 shirt vacated by Spanish international Alberto Moreno, who left the Reds in the summer on a free transfer. Since the Asian star will become a Liverpool player on New Year’s Day, he might make his debut in the Merseyside Derby on 5th January.
