Done deal jurgen klopp’s ended for great players contract…

Liverpool are set for a busy summer transfer window after finishing fifth in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp is hopeful that a ‘really busy period’ is set to start for Liverpool heading into the summer transfer window.

The Reds brought the curtain down on the 2022-23 season with a thrilling 4-4 draw against Southampton on Sunday. Liverpool largely underwhelmed throughout the campaign as they finished just fifth in the Premier League and failed to challenge for any silverware.

Roberto Firmino scored on his final Liverpool appearance at Southampton. The Brazil striker is leaving Anfield along with James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. It means Klopp will bolster his midfield options while he’s not ruled out bringing in a defender in the transfer window.

It could be the Reds’ most active summer since 2018 – with the likes of Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister and Chelsea’s Mason Mount linked so far.

Despite a disappointing campaign, Klopp insists that he’s not desperate for a break during the off-season. And now he’s expecting things to come alive ‘in a different area of the game’ before Liverpool return for pre-season in July.

Klopp said: “No, not at all (he doesn’t need a break). Honestly, I’m completely fine. If you would have asked me 11 games ago if you want to have a break I would have probably thought about it, to be honest.

“But I’m absolutely fine… I don’t have a break. I don’t have training [or] these kind of things. A really busy period hopefully starts now as well in a different area of the game. I’m more than happy to do that and I will find time to re-energise and then we start again in July.”

14-goal Real Madrid target not joining Liverpool for this reason

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to join Real Madrid in the coming weeks.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in world football and he has the attributes to develop into a world-class player. Real Madrid needed to bring in central midfield reinforcements this summer and Bellingham should prove to be a superb long-term investment.

The England international will add physicality, creativity and control in the middle of the park. The likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are on their last legs and Real Madrid need to replace them adequately. Signing a player like Bellingham would be ideal and he could prove to be the ideal replacement for Luka Modric in the coming seasons.

The England midfielder has 14 goals across all competitions this season and he has the ability to compete at the highest level. A move to Real Madrid would be the ideal next step in his career and he will look to fulfill his potential with regular game time at the Spanish club.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are now looking at potential alternatives and it will be interesting to see if they can strengthen their midfield adequately before the start of the new season.

Liverpool have recently lost players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita on free transfers and they will have to bring in multiple midfielders during the summer transfer window.

The Premier League side are reportedly keen on signing the World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion. They have been linked with players like Romeo Lavia and Manuel Ugarte in recent weeks as well.
