TRANSFER SHOCKER: ASTON VILLA  HAS SIGNED £189,000-A-WEEK ‘AGGRESSIVE’ PLAYER DONE DEAL

Aston Villa confirm exit of £10m signing ahead of Premier League season-opener with Newcastle United
Aston Villa have confirmed an exit ahead of their Premier League season-opener with Newcastle United.

Aston Villa have confirmed an exit ahead of their Premier League season-opener with Newcastle United.

Newcastle and Villa have already played during pre-season, sharing an entertaining 3-3 draw in the United States over the weekend. But the two top four hopefuls will face off again in just over two weeks to open their Premier League campaigns.

It’s set to be one of the most intriguing games of the first round of Premier League fixtures, with both clubs hoping to qualify for Europe during the coming season.

The Magpies secured a top four finish last season, while Villa landed a Conference League spot, and both teams have spent significantly this summer. Newcastle spent big to land Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes, while Villa have snapped up Pau Torres, Youri Tielemans and Moussa Diaby as they look to bridge the gap to the top four.

Both sides are now hard at work preparing for that first opening clash, and we have already been given a taste of what kind of game it may be after that six-goal thriller, albeit the competitive meeting should be a much tighter affair.

Speaking after the game, Villa star Emi Buendia said: “It’s important to play these kinds of games against a Premier League opponent.

“They are a good opponent. We started well, showing our philosophy with the ball and trying to press high. They changed a little with their formation, playing three at the back, but then we tried to defend well. It was a good match to start this pre-season in the USA.”

Ahead of Villa’s opening Premier League clash with the Magpies, the Midlands club have confirmed an exit, with Morgan Sanson joining OGC Nice on loan for the season. Sanson joined Villa for more than £10million in 2021, but he has not lived up to expectation. The midfielder joined Strasbourg on loan last season, and he will now return to France to link up with Nice.

Agent has ‘proposed’ Aston Villa player for transfer – Club officials were successful in reducing wage demands.

The attacking midfielder wasn’t favoured by Unai Emery this year as hasn’t made an appearance for the Premier League side since February. It could force him to look for a new club next season, even though he has a deal until 2026.

Beşiktaş could be an option for him. That’s according to Fanatik, who state the Aston Villa player’s agent has ‘proposed’ him to the Turkish club.

It’s claimed the Black Eagles have started the negotiations over a potential deal for the Brazil international.
The 31-year-old’s wages at Aston Villa cannot be matched by Beşiktaş. Therefore, the report states their leaders have reduced his salary to €4.5m [likely net] per season during the last negotiations with his representatives.

Fanatik have made no mention of whether Beşiktaş are looking to take the ex-Liverpool star on a loan deal or permanent transfer.

Coutinho initially arrived at Aston Villa on loan in January 2022 and his stay there was made permanent later that year, when Steven Gerrard was in charge at the club.

Aston Villa Receive Laughable Transfer Bid from European Giants – Respond Immediately

Inter Milan have now officially entered the race to secure the signature of Aston Villa goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez. The Italian giants have made a £13 million bid for the Argentine shot-stopper, which was swiftly rejected by Aston Villa, according to journalist Gaston Edul.

However, according to Edul, Inter Milan are not deterred and are planning to submit a higher offer in the coming days. Talks with Martínez’s representatives have already commenced.

The Latest on Emiliano Martinez to Inter Milan
It was reported by the Daily Mail back in February that the player desires a move to a Champions League club seemingly opening himself up for offers, making him one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the world.

Gaston Edul confirmed Inter Milan’s interest in Martínez, stating that they have already offered £13 million but as we now know, this was rejected. However, now they plan to make another “higher proposal”. We can only presume this deal still has a way to go with Edul reminding fans that he is “still in pre-season with Aston Villa” as things stand.

The £13 million offer becomes laughable when you consider reports from March of this year that Villa wanted a figure close to £60 million to sell the Argentine shot-stopper.

Martínez’s value has soared since his move from Arsenal to Aston Villa in 2020. The 30-year-old has been in sensational form both in the Premier League and on the international stage, helping Argentina claim the coveted World Cup trophy at Qatar 2022.

With his stellar performances, Martínez has set his sights on testing himself at the highest level, particularly in the Champions League.

Goalkeeper Has Villa Contract Until 2027
Despite being tied to a contract at Villa Park until 2027, the Argentine goalkeeper appears keen on a move to a Champions League club with the Daily Mail even suggesting he “could push” for a move away this summer.

His desire to play at the highest level, coupled with his impressive track record, has clearly piqued the interest of top clubs across Europe with Inter the latest to get involved.

Villa, who signed Martínez for a bargain £16 million in 2020, are poised to make a significant profit in any sort of future deal.
