Tottenham has signed £120m star player
DONE DEAL, CONTRACT ACCEPTED

Tottenham has identified their primary defensive targets.

Tottenham Hotspur have identified a Premier League-proven centre-back as a summer priority, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor, who updated GIVEMESPORT.

Spurs are looking for extra reinforcements, despite the fact that Ange Postecoglou has already made significant additions to his new-look club.

Tottenham Hotspur transfer information

Tottenham’s camp is buzzing ahead of the new season, with Postecoglou having infused a much-needed new breath of life at Hotspur Way.

Tottenham’s marquee signing thus far this summer has been the £40 million acquisition of James Maddison from Leicester City.

Maddison was part of Leicester’s relegation to the Championship last season, and the energetic midfielder is now hoping to impress at Spurs ahead of the European Championships next summer.

Guglielmo Vicario, the 2008 League Cup winners’ goalkeeper, has also signed a contract with the club, signing from Empoli for £17 million last month.

Whereas Manor Solomon, who caught the eye during a spell with Fulham last season, joins Tottenham on a free transfer, having suspended his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk, following a controversial rule introduced by FIFA which impacts players playing for clubs in war-torn Ukraine.

With three new faces through the door already, Postecoglou wants to add even more and a central defender is next on the former Celtic manager’s shopping list.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Daily Express journalist Taylor admitted that Tottenham were eyeing up a new addition at centre-back, with Tosin Adarabioyo one name high up on their shortlist.

On the 25-year-old defender, Taylor said: “There’s strong interest in Tosin, the Fulham centre-back who was left out of the squad to face Brentford in Philadelphia.

I think he’s a player that ticks the homegrown quota, he’s admired by Spurs and it looks like he can leave Fulham this summer, as he’s only got one year left on his deal. So I think they’re the two that will probably be the priority, Micky van de Ven and Adarabioyo.”

As alluded to by Taylor, Spurs are eyeing a cut-price deal for Adarabioyo this summer, as they look to add to their defensive options.

According to The Evening Standard, the north Londoners will attempt to capitalize on Adarabioyo’s desire to quit Fulham by signing the ex-Manchester City man for a reduced fee.

While there is no word on how much the Manchester-born defender will cost, Transfermarkt values Adarabioyo at £13 million, implying Spurs will not have to break the bank to sign him this summer.

Adarabioyo, who earns an estimated £40,000 per week, is out of contract at the end of the season and has showed no signs of extending his stay at Craven Cottage.

Calcio Napoli 24 have claimed that Giovani Lo Celso is in favour of making a switch to Napoli this summer.

Gianluca Di Marzio recently asserted that Napoli had contacted Tottenham about a deal for Lo Celso, revealing the Italian club’s interest in the Argentine.

According to the journalist, the Argentine is a perfect fit for manager Rudi Garcia because he can play as one of the three midfielders in a 4-3-3 formation and can also play behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

Giovani Lo Celso is a long-term target for Napoli

In a new report, Calcio Napoli 24 claims that Napoli has made Lo Celso their top pick to replace Piotr Zielinski should the Poland international depart this summer, supporting the club’s interest in the Tottenham player.

The article claims that the player has been on the Partenopei’s radar for “years” and would “gladly accept” a move to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The player formerly played for Real Betis and PSG.

The source also notes that Lo Celso’s market is reportedly hotting up, with Napoli not the only club interested in signing the 27-year-old.

Lo Celso actually fits Postecoglou’s system’s number eight position quite well in many ways. The Argentine demonstrated against West Ham how well he suits the Australian’s system.

The key question, though, is if the 27-year-old wants to continue playing for the team. I can see Postecoglou choosing to keep the midfielder if he is committed.

Done Deal: Tottenham to sign highly-rated defender, player set to fly out for pre-season

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements before the summer transfer window closes.

According to Daily Mirror journalist James Nursey, Tottenham are looking to take advantage of Blackburn Rovers’ financial problems and strike a deal for Ashley Phillips.

The young, gifted central defender, who is highly regarded throughout England, could end up being a wise investment for Tottenham in the long run.

It goes without saying that Spurs will need to strengthen their defense options this summer, but it is still unclear if they will be able to find the perfect reinforcement.

They have also been connected to players like Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba.

Phillips could show to be a good long-term investment, despite the fact that he is still fairly young and not quite ready to make his impact in the Premier League.

According to James Nursey, the transfer to Tottenham should be completed tomorrow, after which the talented young defender will report to his new team for preseason. Phillips will leave right away for Asia.

For the young player, the chance to play for a team like Tottenham will be an alluring choice, and he will seek to continue his development with consistent football at the London club.

James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario are two players who Tottenham has done well to sign thus far. Before the window ends, they will need to upgrade their defense alternatives. If Harry Kane left, they should also try to get a top striker.

Tottenham offers raising midfield star on loan to Serie A giants

Tottenham Hotspur star Pape Matar Sarr offered on loan to Inter Milan

Italian outlet FCInterNews have revealed that Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has been presented as a loan option to Inter Milan.

The 20-year-old rising star is eager to secure more playing time, and his representatives have identified Inter as a potential destination to further his career. However, it is important to note that, as of now, no negotiations have commenced between the two clubs.

Sarr’s talent has not gone unnoticed, and there is growing interest from French club Marseille as well. The youngster is highly regarded by the French club and features prominently on their transfer wish list.

Having joined Tottenham in 2021, the Senegalese midfielder was immediately loaned back to Metz for the 2021-22 season. While under former manager Antonio Conte, he faced challenges in securing regular starts.

However, he seized the opportunity when a series of injuries struck Tottenham’s midfielders, showcasing his potential with impressive performances in his 14 appearances for the club and making a name for himself.

What sets Pape Matar Sarr apart is his remarkable versatility, which allows him to excel in multiple positions on the field. With his aerial prowess, precise passing ability, and powerful long shots, the 20-year-old possesses a wide range of skills that make him an exciting prospect.

A stint at Inter Milan would provide Sarr with the ideal platform to further develop his abilities and gain invaluable experience. However, Postecoglou could choose to retain his services for the upcoming seasons.

The opportunity of playing alongside and against top-quality opposition in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues would serve as a litmus test for Sarr’s abilities and character. The intense atmosphere and tactical demands of Italian football would push him to grow both technically and mentally.

Sarr is a serious talent that Tottenham are lucky to have. He might be one loan spell away from being first-team ready. Let’s see how it goes.
