Tottenham Hotspur are expected to finalize their team for the first half of the 2023/24 Premier League season today, with the deadline approaching.

Following the arrivals and departures during the summer transfer window, each Premier League club will prepare to submit a list of their 25-man roster, with a maximum of 17 non-homegrown players allowed in each team.

It means that until the January transfer market opens, the players chosen by Ange Postecoglou and his staff will be the only ones capable of playing in the Premier League.

That month will allow Spurs to make any changes they deem necessary to their squad and, as a result, their squad list in order to improve their chances of remaining in second place in the league table.

There are, however, players who can play for the club’s senior team while not being named on the list. As long as a player is under the age of 21 (born on or after January 1, 2002), they can play for the senior team without being named to the squad.
