Aaron Ramsdale’s incredible late stop to deny Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Premier League’s save of the month in April and your votes could help him win.

Having won the prize in March, Rambo is looking to reclaim the prize in the following months after his exploits at Anfield gave us a 2-2 draw.

As the game went into the final minute, the Reds went ahead and Trent Alexander-Arnold singled Salah in the box. Controlling the ball, the Egyptian quickly deflected a shot into the top corner that looked set to find its mark, only for Aaron to dive fully extended and bring his fingertips to the ball to propel it around the post and put in balance.

Ramsdale’s rivals this month include two former Gunners – Lukasz Fabianski, who stopped Romain Perraud in West Ham’s game against Southampton, and Bernd Leno, who managed to keep Erling Haaland at bay in Fulham’s game against Manchester City.

The other options include David de Gea’s denial of Joelinton in the Newcastle United vs Manchester United match, Leicester City’s Daniel Iversen making a save on Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke and Kepa Arrizabalaga hitting Evan Ferguson’s header when the Chelsea play against Brighton.
