Enter Christen Harper, Jared Goff’s fiancee. She’s been there through Goff’s Super Bowl troubles and three-win season. To say she’s committed is like claiming the 2023 season was the finest in Detroit history; truer words have never been spoken.

Harper started dating Goff in 2019 after meeting through the dating app Raya, and the couple became engaged three years later. Harper’s career has been a whirlwind over the last five years.

She grew up in California and attended college at California State University, Northridge. She decided to try modeling to help pay for school, and the rest is history. She became a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model after co-winning the 2021 Swim Search. She featured in the next year’s issue and was named co-Rookie of the Year. She was a panelist on the Stay Doubted YouTube series “Women of the League,” along with NFL wives Allison Rochell, Kym Jackson, Whitney Risner, and Josie Leinart.

As a California native and model, it’s safe to assume her career changed when Goff was moved from the Rams to the Lions after the 2020 season.

“Because we were in Los Angeles.” I get the best of both worlds. I worked every day, but I could still spend time with Jared… But moving was a significant cost for me because I had to give up my work,” she explained. “That was really difficult, and it had a significant impact on my identity and overall personality. I had a difficult time at first. Harper noted that, despite the hardships, she was delighted she took a chance with Goff and expanded her personal and professional horizons.

While the two have become more open to the public since they started dating, their relationship remains primarily private. Goff and Harper post the occasional photo on social media, usually for birthdays, holidays, and now Lions victories.
