The Indiana Fever released a midseason report outlining the tremendous improvement the team has had this year as a result of rookie Caitlin Clark, the overall pick.
The Indiana Fever announced on their website that they have witnessed incredible growth in a number of areas, including a 265% increase in attendance and a 1,193% increase in jersey sales. The release was titled “So Far This Season, Fans Are Engaging with the Indiana Fever in Record Numbers.”

Eight of the 12 teams in the WNBA qualify for the postseason, and the Fever currently sit in 7th. Given the historic attention she’s brought to the league, the WNBA will obviously be hoping that Clark and the Fever will qualify for the playoffs in order to keep this unprecedented momentum going.
So far during her rookie season, Clark, the odds-on favorite to win WNBA Rookie of the Year, has started in all of the Fever’s games and is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game.
