Done deal ✅ Liverpool has signed a talented  Manchester United

Liverpool want El Chadaille Bitshiabu as they line up a raid for the Paris Saint-Germain talent this summer.

That is according to a report from French website Le10 Sport, who claim that Bitshiabu is attracting major interest.

Liverpool are one of the clubs now keen to land Bitshiabu this summer alongside Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund.

It’s added that Manchester United are also keen with both Liverpool and the Red Devils showing a ‘strong interest in recent days’.

Liverpool have been linked with a number of centre backs for this summer, possibly because Joe Gomez may end up leaving.

Bitshiabu would certainly be one for the future but he has already made 10 Ligue 1 appearances this season at just 17.

Liverpool may well see Bitshiabu as a player who can join Jurgen Klopp’s first team and ultimately learn from Virgil van Dijk.

Add in that Bitshiabu is a left-footed centre back – very popular in the modern game – and Liverpool may well have found a top talent.

El Chadaille Bitshiabu actually started in the Boulogne-Billancourt ranks before heading to PSG in 2017.

A giant defender at 6ft 5in tall, Bitshiabu was over 6ft tall at just 12 years old and looked like an absolute giant in the PSG ranks.

Bitshiabu is so highly rated that The Guardian named him in their NextGen series in September, which focuses on 60 of the best young talents in world football.

PSG really need to start keeping hold of these talents moving forward.

The likes of Mike Maignan, Christopher Nkunku and Moussa Diaby have all moved on in recent times having come through at PSG.

PSG have another defender arriving this summer in Milan Skriniar, which could dent Bitshiabu’s first-team hopes.

If Liverpool can sell him on the idea of becoming a first-team player at Anfield in the coming years, they may just be able to tempt him away.

Premier League team of the week: Arsenal&Liverpool stars dominate plus rare appearance from Chelsea player

The Premier League team of the week from Garth Crooks is with us, and he’s actually used a slightly different formation for a change, though with some slightly left-of-field tactical decisions as always!

See below for the line up in full, which certainly has some fine and in-form players involved, such as Arsenal midfield duo Martin Odegaard and Jorginho, but which also includes central midfield players like Ilkay Gundogan and Abdoulaye Doucoure as wing-backs in some sort of 3-5-2 formation.

Liverpool players also dominate the XI, with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson making Crooks’ selection, which is quite the reward for a 1-0 win at home to Brentford, whereas Arsenal only get two players in for an impressive 2-0 win away to Newcastle United.

We also have a rare appearance for a Chelsea player, with Thiago Silva making Crooks’ back three after the Blues finally picked up a win, beating Bournemouth 3-1 away from home.

And even if he is playing as a wing-back, Gundogan more than deserves his place in the team after another superb performance to help Manchester City overcome Leeds and continue their seemingly unstoppable march for the title.

West Ham will not block Rice sale

West Ham United have resigned themselves to losing Declan Rice this summer.

The Hammers understand that Rice wants to play European football, ideally for a club in the Champions League next season.

Per The Mail, West Ham will not stand in their captain’s way, should he intimate that he is done at the club.

However, West Ham do want a fee in the region of £100 million for their talisman.

Rice has a contract that expires at the end of next season, but can be extended for a further year by the club.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are the clubs with serious interest in Rice.
