The Premier League season has come to a close with attention now turning to every club’s summer recruitment.

 

Relegation for Leeds and Leicester means several of their big hitters are likely to be on their way out putting the likes of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes on the market.

Harry Kane scored twice for Tottenham at Elland Road, but speculation continues over a possible move to Manchester United. Alexis Mac Allister too may have played his final game for Brighton as the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City circle.

Arsenal meanwhile were given a parting gift by Granit Xhaka, who scored twice on the final day ahead of his imminent departure.

Liverpool are aiming to take advantage of uncertainty surrounding Jules Kounde at Barcelona as he considers a Camp Nou exit.

 

The Reds are expected to have a busy summer transfer window following a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League. Midfield needs serious investment with a number of players already departing.

 

Another department boss Jurgen Klopp also wants to bolster is in defence and Barcelona star Kounde is a potential option. Reports in Spain suggest he was planning on leaving the Camp Nou this summer after being consistently played out of position. He has since moved to refute those rumours with a post on social media.

Adrian agrees new Liverpool contract

Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian has reportedly signed a new one-year deal at Anfield, keeping him at the club until 2024.

The Spaniard, 36, joined the Reds on a free transfer from West Ham in 2019 and has made 26 appearances.
