At just 16 years of age, Mukasa would certainly be one for the future for any club he plays for, but the fact that City

have deemed him good enough for their growing youth academy speaks volumes about his potential.

With such pedigree at such a young age, Hammers fans will be disappointed to see him go, but for Mukasa

personally, the chance to move to the Champions League holders and join another of England’s finest academies is an

opportunity he can’t be faulted for taking.

He will have to work hard, however.

Breaking into Manchester City’s first team is much tougher than the Hammers, but City’s frequent use of loans may

see Mukasa earn plenty of minutes in his young career.

For now, he will likely remain in Manchester before any loan, but the future looks bright for the teenager.
