Jürgen Klopp’s recent comments about Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley were more than justified after he picked up three trophies this season at Bolton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old Bradley helped Ian Evatt’s side to a play-off place as they chase promotion to the Championship, featuring in the recent 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town at the weekend.
Having won the Player of the Year award, named Player of the Year and tied for Young Player of the Year at the club’s end-of-year presentation, the news will be a huge boost to those hoping to see the teenager in action for the Reds next season. “It’s been a great year and I’ve really enjoyed it. I am grateful to all the members of the club for the support they have given me,” said Bradley, who also won the Papa Johns Trophy in this campaign. Klopp has already confirmed that Bradley will be “our player” next season, but has indicated that another loan move could make sense. Bradley added: “Winning these awards is very special and a great honour. It’s really nice to be voted on by your teammates because they’re the ones who see how much work you’ve done, and also by the fans. Nothing would be possible without them. It is a great honor to enter Bolton’s history.
Elsewhere, it was a special comeback for Sepp van den Berg in the Bundesliga a few days ago, as the Reds mercenary returned to the Schalke first team with less than 15 minutes left against Werder Bremen after spending seven months out. on the sidelines with a cruciate ligament injury. Things got even better for the ex-Preston man, who converted a left footed shot from the edge of the box to make it 1-1. Dominic Drexler scored a decisive goal in a 2-1 win and boosted hopes of staying in the German top flight this season.
“I’m really happy. I made my comeback, scored my first goal for Schalke and, most importantly, we took three important points as a team” Van den Berg said.
“Many things were going through my mind at the time. I have been injured for more than six months and I have worked day after day to finally be able to play again in this beautiful stadium. It’s like a dream

Sean Dyche has admitted Seamus Coleman may have suffered a “serious” knee injury during Everton’s draw with Leicester City.
The Everton captain appeared to be in agony after a nasty clash with Leicester’s Boubakary Soumare in the 43rd minute of Monday night’s 2-2 draw.
Soumare came on for a hard tackle on Coleman, and on impact the Donegal man was found to have severely sprained his knee. The game was immediately halted as the Republic of Ireland international was treated by doctors. He was subsequently carried off on a stretcher but cheered on the traveling Everton fans at the King Power Stadium and gave instructions to team mates as he left the field of play.
Asking for an update on the defender after the game, Dyche said: “It’s a real shame. Let’s wait for news, he could be serious, a knee injury. I thought he was great.”
Coleman was replaced by Nathan Patterson in the fifth minute of added time at halftime. And at the time, Everton trailed 2-1 after Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy turned around Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s opening goal from the penalty spot. However, Alex Iwobi restored level nine minutes into the second half. The result leaves Everton in the relegation zone with four games to play.

Liverpool could face tough Darwin Nunez decision with double move

Liverpool continued their mini revival with a fourth straight win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
Added time winner Diogo Jota handed Liverpool a dramatic win at Anfield after Tottenham were on course to salvage a point. The Reds took a three-goal lead inside the first 15 minutes through Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah. However, Spurs equalized through goals from Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and substitute Richarlison. But Jota scored in the fourth minute of extra time to send Anfield into a rage. Klopp has been reluctant to fumble excessively with his side in recent games, given the run that has seen them at least re-enter the fray for Europa League places.
But with the brief turnaround between Sunday’s game and the one against Fulham, you can imagine the rotation could be at the forefront of Klopp’s thinking. Defensive regular Andy Robertson has started in his side’s last nine Premier League games: could this be a chance for Kostas Tsimikas to try out the new modified line-up? Elsewhere in defence, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are suspected to get the nod to leave. Although Joe Gomez could come on if Klopp wants to brush things up a bit, while Joel Matip came on brilliantly at centre-back and went on the scoresheet against West Ham.
It’s perhaps surprising how addicted Klopp has been to his old man
