‘Half the price’- Liverpool told to complete transfer of ideal….
Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Liverpool to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves this summer.
An overhaul is expected at Anfield in the coming months, with midfield identified as the key area for improvement. Losing Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaves the Reds light in the engine room as Jurgen Klopp aims to revamp his side.
Talk regarding Alexis Mac Allister has ramped up after his teary farewell to Brighton supporters on Sunday. While the World Cup winner would be a welcome addition, Liverpool need more recruitments if they are to embark on a Premier League title charge next season.

Reports have suggested Wolves talisman Neves could be available for £25million. The Portuguese international is an instrumental figure at Molineux but, with one year left on his contract, continues to be linked with a summer switch.
There were suggestions the 26-year-old pushed for a move last year after five years at the Midlands outfit. Fast forward to the present and it appears likely Neves will get his move ahead of the new campaign.
The lack of Champions League football may prove a hurdle for Liverpool, with Neves outlining his desire to compete in UEFA’s elite competition earlier this month. Speaking to Football Insider, former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor claimed the Reds are one of the few clubs that could bypass his European dream.
“He wants to play at a top club, and he’s said he wants to play in the Champions League,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider. “Liverpool aren’t in that competition, but they’re a big club, a big draw – and I’m sure they can attract top players like him.
“I just can’t see him staying at Wolves. If you’re a starter for Portugal, you should be at a better club than Wolves. That’s no disrespect, but he’s better than them. Liverpool need midfielders, but they can’t quite afford (Moises) Caicedo or (Declan) Rice. But Neves, you could get him for half the price of those two – I’m sure.”

Club‘have not written off’ Liverpool man just yet–Player‘can imagine staying’, all depends on what Reds want
Schalke have “not written off” a move for Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg this summer, despite dropping into the 2. Bundesliga.
That’s according to journalist Dirk Schlarmann, who says the youngster can imagine spending another season on loan with the German side.
He has been with them since the summer but has barely featured this season, making just nine appearances in the Bundesliga after a torn ankle ligament and a foot injury ruled him out for much of the campaign.
He’s impressed when brought in to the side at the end of the season, though, and several reports in Germany have made it clear that Schalke would like to have him for another season at least.
That’s something Van den Berg is apparently open to, with a recent report and comments from the player insisting that he would prefer to have his future resolved and be playing than sat on the bench at Liverpool.
The question is what the Reds would like to do with the youngster moving forwards, with a season in the second division in Germany unlikely to appeal to Liverpool’s hopes of developing the defender at a higher competitive level.
That had been their hope for him this season when sending him to Schalke, who were a Bundesliga side and a step up from Preston, where he spent last season.
Their relegation, then, complicates their hopes somewhat but it seems they have not given up just yet, and Sky Germany report that he ‘can imagine staying’ where he is for another year a fact that gives Schalke hope according to Schlarmann.
“The question is how much interest there is from other clubs and what Liverpool want – but Schalke have not written him off 100% just yet,” he stated.
