Man United to bid £55m for Mason Mount amid Arsenal interest
Mason Mount’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool showing keen interest in the player.
Mount’s £85m valuation by Chelsea potentially challenged by United’s planned £55m bid, opening a window for Arsenal to negotiate.
With the risk of Mount leaving on a free transfer next year, Chelsea might opt to sell the player this summer, providing Arsenal an opportunity to secure the young talent.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Arsenal’s gaze is reportedly set on Chelsea star, Mason Mount.
Amidst reports of a proposed £55m bid from Manchester United, the Gunners, guided by Mikel Arteta, haven’t given up hope of bagging the young talent. So the story goes, at least.
Mount’s future at Chelsea is increasingly uncertain, with the England international entering the last year of his contract at Stamford Bridge. His absence due to injury in the closing weeks of the season only intensified the intrigue around his future.

United’s determination is said to be strong. Insiders at Old Trafford suggest negotiations for the 24-year-old’s acquisition are about to kick off. However, the £55m they’re willing to fork out falls significantly short of Chelsea’s £85m valuation, leaving room for Arsenal to swoop in. Should they want to, of course.
Mount is also on Liverpool‘s radar, adding another dimension to this unfolding saga. Jurgen Klopp is on the hunt for reinforcements following a challenging season, and Mount has been flagged as a significant prospect with rumours claiming Anfield would be Mount’s preferred destination.

While the incoming Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, reportedly appreciates Mount’s potential, it’s unclear if Chelsea can revive the stalled contract negotiations. Their American owners have invested £600 million in new players over the past two transfer windows, neglecting a new deal for Mount.
With the risk of losing Mount on a free transfer next year, it appears Chelsea might prefer to sell the player this summer.
