Manchester City is known for having a large number of young, gifted players on the team.

Apart from the fact that City’s youth teams have won a lot of trophies lately, players like Phil Foden, Rico Lewis, and Oscar Bobb have gone on to become well-known members of the senior team.

While City can produce many young players, they also have the ability to recruit players from other teams, like they did with Bobb in 2019.

But now, some information has surfaced about another young player who is now becoming well-known overseas and who City’s scouts have recently had their eye on.

Man City scouts impressed by Sporting CP winger Geovany Quenda.

A recent report from Record states that City’s scouts saw Sporting CP’s Super Cup match against Porto on Saturday and were quite impressed with the performance of 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda.

The report also added that the scouts in attendance were particularly enamoured with the Sporting youngster’s maturity and the player, who has been followed since he was 15, is now very much on City’s radar.
