On the way to Paris, Angel Reese handled a relatable travel issue…

The first-ever WNBA All-Star Weekend hosted by Angel Reese was a huge success. Despite choosing to enjoy the scenery rather than accept her invitation to the Skills Competition, the rookie from the Chicago Sky contributed another double-double to Team WNBA’s victory over Team USA on Saturday night. In just 18 minutes of action, Reese recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds in the All-Stars’ 117-109 triumph.

After completing her All-Star debut, Reese left for Paris. She did not receive an invitation to join Team USA and, like fellow rookie standout Caitlin Clark, will not be competing in the 2024 Olympics. But the league granted everyone a month off because the Games fell squarely in the heart of the WNBA season. Reese, who ESPN reported over the weekend, is taking a vacation overseas, where she plans to shop and work out while taking in the city’s Olympic celebrations. However, Reese disclosed on Monday that she had experienced a well-known travel issue: her airline misplaced her luggage.
