Sad News Carlo Ancelotti get angry and asked Jude Bellingham to leave you are a selfish player
Carlo Ancelotti has NOT spoken to Jude Bellingham about ‘wrong’ red card vs Valencia and still insists star man didn’t ‘insult’ the referee… after he asked ‘what the f*** was that?’ when his Real Madrid winner was ruled out

Carlo Ancelotti has not discussed the red card that made Jude Bellingham angry
Bellingham’s late ‘goal’ did not stand and he was sent off for his related outburst

Carlo Ancelotti says he has not spoken to Jude Bellingham about his red card and ruled-out winner against Valencia on Saturday – despite the midfielder’s fury.
He also believes his star man did not ‘insult’ referee Jesus Gil Manzano even though he was sent off for dissent.

Bellingham was irate when his header to snatch a 3-2 win at the Mestalla didn’t count because the referee had blown the whistle as Brahim Diaz delivered his cross.
He then asked the referee ‘what the f*** was that’ as a furious Madrid throng Manzaro him and was shown a red card for his outburst.
‘I haven’t spoken to him, I don’t need to speak to him about it. He is doing very well, Ancelotti said.

Carlo Ancelotti has not spoken to Jude Bellingham about his sending-off but and still insists he made no ‘insult’
Bellingham was sent off for dissent after his would-be winner was ruled out in Real Madrid’s draw with Valencia
‘What happened the other day, the red card was wrong. He had a bit of frustration but he didn’t make any kind of insult.’
Under football’s rules, the goal was not supposed to stand – you can’t score once the match is over, after all.
Real Madrid are set to appeal the sending-off and intend on citing an incident involving Mason Greenwood when they do.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side went 2-0 down in the first half at the Mestalla on Saturday, with Hugo Duro and Roman Yaremchuk on target for the hosts.
The La Liga leaders fought back however, and a brace from Vinicius brought them level before Bellingham’s last-gasp commotion.
Seven minutes had been added on, with extra time put on top of that after the official had awarded a penalty to Valencia before he subsequently changed his mind following a review, with the clock at 98:40 at full-time.
In a statement Madrid said: ‘An unprecedented refereeing decision by Gil Manzano prevented Real Madrid’s victory against Valencia at Mestalla.’
Bellingham is now set to miss Real’s clash with Celta Vigo next week, and the ban could be extended if an appeal is ultimately unsuccessful.

However, the club are confident that the straight red will be overturned just as Greenwood’s was earlier this season.
Real are set to appeal the referee’s decision by invoking a similar incident involving Mason Greenwood
The Manchester United loanee was one of three Getafe players to be sent off in the club’s defeat to Rayo Vallecano in January.
Greenwood had been shown a straight red for dissent but the decision was later rescinded on appeal when it was shown he said ‘f***sake’ in frustration at not being given a foul and had not directed his expletive at the official.
At the weekend, Ancelotti said: ‘He didn’t insult the referee,’ He said. ‘He was respectful. He spoke in English and just said: “It was a f***ing goal”.’
Bellingham has enjoyed a hugely successful maiden campaign in Spain since joining Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The England international is currently enjoying his most prolific season to date and sits top of the league’s scoring charts with 16 goals in 22 appearances.

Manchester City will be monitoring the fitness of one defender more closely in the coming days after Rodri revealed a new problem in the squad’s rearguard.
Pep Guardiola and his players showed their Champions League holder credentials in a thrilling contest at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, coming from behind to ensure they will bring a positive result to the Etihad Stadium next week.
Bernardo Silva’s opening goal inside two minutes was cancelled out by a Ruben Dias own goal and Rodrygo effort on the counter-attack, before Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol’s second-half stunners would be responded to by an equally brilliant Federico Valverde effort.
While Manchester City will no doubt be positive about the result and overall performance in the Spanish capital, it has now been revealed that one of their first-team stars was struggling towards the end of the clash with an injury concern.
Speaking after Manchester City’s 3-3 draw against Real Madrid on Tuesday night, Rodri revealed that John Stones was suffering from muscular tightness during the closing exchanges of the match and ‘had some problems’.
The Spanish midfielder explained, as relayed by MailSport’s Jack Gaughan, “John (Stones) was tight and had some problems at the end but he showed his courage because he knew that the team needed him.”
Rodri continued, “He didn’t say ‘I need to go’, he stayed until the end – this is the kind of thing we’re going to need.”
Pep Guardiola is likely to provide a comprehensive update on the fitness of his squad when he faces the media on Friday afternoon, as Manchester City turn attentions back to the Premier League and their upcoming clash with Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium.
While John Stones will no doubt be among the questions concerning squad fitness, supporters will likely be wanting a further update on the recovery processes being undertaken by Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake.
Both defenders were absent from Manchester City’s travelling squad for the contest against Real Madrid, but could be eyeing the second-leg as the ideal opportunity to contribute once more for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Pep Guardiola tells Real Madrid president to ‘fix’ problem after Man City draw

Pep Guardiola urged Real Madrid to ‘fix’ the state of their pitch at the Santiago Bernabeu after Manchester City’s 3-3 draw in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
In a thrilling quarter-final first leg in the Spanish capital, Bernardo Silva opened the scoring after just two minutes with a display of quick-thinking from a free kick which outfoxed Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Madrid were level 10 minutes later as Eduardo Camavinga’s effort deflected off Ruben Dias and then went ahead as Rodrygo’s effort squirmed past City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
Phil Foden pulled City level in the 66th minute with a sublime long-range strike, while Josko Gvardiol put the visitors ahead once again with another excellent shot from outside the box. But Madrid were able to earn a draw through Federico Valverde’s brilliant volley with 11 minutes remaining.
Madrid opted to play the tie with the roof closed in order to improve the atmosphere, but Guardiola was unhappy with the state of the playing surface for the match.
‘I haven’t set foot on it, but that’s what the players have told me,’ Guardiola said after the game.
‘Don’t let the president take it the wrong way or let the people take it the wrong way. The field is spectacular, the locker rooms… it’s an impressive piece of work.
‘I remember that Real Madrid always had very good grass, it was like a carpet, but today that was not the case. But I’m sure that they will fix it, no doubt about it and no problem.’

City midfielder Rodri also echoed Guardiola’s verdict of the Bernabeu pitch.
‘It was not good, especially for the way we play, it hurt us a little,’ Rodri said.

‘You can’t see it from above all the time. Sometimes it seems that a grass is fine and only when you get to the pitch you realise that it is not.
‘It stood up, it was not uniform so to speak. The Bernabeu has always been like a carpet, they always provide the best conditions, in that sense we do not have complaint.’

Manchester City drew 3-3 in a Champions League thriller with Real Madrid full of quality from two of the world’s most talented teams. Bernardo Silva caught Andriy Lunin out with a free-kick in the second minute, but two deflected strikes sent the Bernabeu into raptures thanks to Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo in the first half. Then a pair of incredible strikes from Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol stunned the hosts before Federico Valverde similarly hit back with another fabulous volley to set up a blockbuster return fixture at the Etihad. Here, Express Sport runs the rule over the biggest talking points, including a taunting celebration.

Phil Foden ends Jude Bellingham debate
Both Foden and Jude Bellingham were handed central roles with plenty of freedom, as the duo staked their claim to Gareth Southgate as to who should be given an advanced role for England at Euro 2024.
Bellingham had seemingly won the Three Lions boss over, as Declan Rice and another midfielder have been used most recently in the build-up to the tournament, but Foden’s recent form and tonight’s display are impossible to ignore.
Fortunately for Southgate, Bellingham has also excelled in a deeper role at Borussia Dortmund and may have to sacrifice some attacking elements of his game to accommodate Foden, with the City star’s wondergoal clear evidence of the magic Foden is able to produce.

Pep Guardiola handed new dilemma
Once again Foden has shown that he thrives in a central role, this time afforded to him through the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian missed out through illness but likely would have forced the England star out wide to accommodate his ability as a number 10 if available.
But Guardiola cannot keep turning Foden away and the time has arrived for he and De Bruyne to play through the middle together. The boss has experimented with two attacking options alongside Rodri recently against Crystal Palace and although the Premier League run-in won’t be seen as the time to tinker, both players in their preferred roles could elevate City to an even higher level.

Jude Bellingham shows bite in Ruben Dias duel
Bellingham can perhaps feel fortunate that he is not suspended for the second leg at the Etihad, after biting back in his battle with City centre-back Ruben Dias.
The Portuguese defender had crunched Bellingham in a bruising tackle on the half way line in the first half, leaving the 20-year-old in a heap on the floor, but Bellingham was quick to get his revenge.
A few minutes later, Dias passed the ball onto Manuel Akanji and with the ball heading towards its intended target, Bellingham came through the back of Dias, likely with the intention of letting the defender know he cannot be bossed around.
However, as one of four Madrid players who were a yellow card away from missing the second leg, Bellingham is fortunate that his elbow into Dias was not deemed an offence worthy of a caution.

Crafty Bernardo Silva
Without De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva stepped up as City’s conductor and with just 109 seconds played, the Portuguese midfielder gave Lunin the eyes and embarrassed Madrid’s goalkeeper.
The Ukrainian stopper had placed just Vinicius Jr in the wall after Jack Grealish earned the visitors a free-kick 25 yards out. Lunin had expected Silva, not on the ideal side for a left-footer, to lift the ball into the box for a cross.
But Silva had another idea and cheekily bent his free-kick around Vinicius and Lunin was unable to react to the quick-thinking in time, helpless to prevent an opening goal and a nightmare start for the La Liga leaders.
City taunted by Rodrygo
Despite being 39 and playing his football in Saudi Arabia, Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo was able to haunt City once more, this time through Rodrygo.
City supporters will have watched on as the Portuguese forward transformed into one of the football’s greatest at Old Trafford, inspiring a new generation, including the man who grabbed Madrid’s second goal.
Rodrygo burst through before his deflected effort rolled past Stefan Ortega, before he busted out Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration, rubbing his goal in City’s nose by taunting them through one of their rivals’ favourite sons.

Kyle Walker sorely missed
Kyle Walker has so often been Guardiola’s foil against the world’s top forwards. As often as City dazzle in possession, defence wins Champions Leagues and Walker has been key against the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, Ronaldo and Lionel Messi before them.
Without Walker’s pace, City struggled to keep as high a line as they would like, while his ability to defend one-on-one was sorely missed.
As capable a defender as Akanji is, Madrid were able to find joy down his flank and the right-back was unable to fill the boots of Walker. City will be desperate for the England defender to return in time for the second leg.
