Liverpool willing to sign £125,000 a week midfielder – Contact made
Liverpool wanted to sign Aurelien Tchouameni last summer but he opted to leave Monaco to join Real Madrid instead.
According to the latest reports, the French international is once again on the radar at Anfield.
News – £52m star’s move to Liverpool a matter of time – Deal imminent
As per 90min, Liverpool have contacted the European champions and are willing to finally sign Tchouameni this summer.
The news source have mentioned that the Merseysiders have made the Los Blancos aware they would even be prepared to have him on a season long loan.
Madrid have a lot of quality and depth in the center of the park with stars like Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Tchouameni and Camavinga around.
It is reported that Kroos and Modric are expected to extend their stay at the Bernabeu and the Spanish side are also set to further strengthen the midfield by signing Bellingham.
In such a scenario, the World Cup 2022 star, who has not regularly started lately, could drop further down the pecking order and may look to leave.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has not started a single game in the KO stages of the Champions League this season and has only featured for 37 minutes.
He only came on as a substitute in the last six minutes of the semi final (1st leg) clash against PL champions, Manchester City.
The Anfield club have admired the Les Bleus star for a long time and would like to secure his signature.
The former Monaco man’s current contract with the La Liga giants will expire in 2028 and he earns around £125,000 a week (Football Transfers):
Fabinho has been our prime defensive midfielder over the years but he has not been at this best this term and will turn 30 later in 2023.
Sooner or later, we will have to replace the Brazilian. In your opinion, should Liverpool move in to finally sign Aurelien Tchouameni?

Man United considers two Liverpool targets amid takeover as Chelsea takes Jürgen Klopp advice
The transfer window is moving into view as the Premier League season draws to a close, although there is still plenty to decide.
Manchester City is in the driving seat for the title, although Arsenal still remains in the hunt heading into the final few weekends. Liverpool meanwhile still holds hope of finishing in the top four as it looks to chase down Newcastle and Manchester United, with both sides playing before the Reds this weekend as the pressure mounts.
For one of Liverpool’s biggest rivals though, the season is already all but finished. Despite Frank Lampard picking up his first win since returning as interim boss last weekend, Chelsea is still languishing in the bottom half of the table, with no hope of challenging for European football for next season.

Here, Liverpool.com takes a scan around the other big sides in the Premier League and around Europe to take a look at the news going on at the other clubs, including news on a potential takeover at Old Trafford, as well a new target for Chelsea and its owner Todd Boehly.
Man United eyes up two Liverpool targets
With Manchester United seemingly nearing a takeover by Sir Jim Ratcliffe next season, Liverpool’s great rival is being linked with a whole host of players ahead of the transfer window opening.
The INEOS chief is the leading contender to complete a takeover of the Old Trafford club, and he could be tasked with supplying the funds for four new players this summer.
Among them, according to the Express, are Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister, both of whom have been strongly linked with Liverpool in recent months as the Reds prepare for a major rebuild after a disappointing season.

Liverpool.com says: In all likelihood, we won’t see a Todd Boehly-style splurge on players should Ratcliffe complete a takeover of Manchester United this summer. At the same time though, Liverpool may need to be a bit wary of a new owner at Old Trafford.
With two players who have been heavily linked to Liverpool ahead of the summer now suddenly being mentioned as potential targets for the Reds’ rivals, it could be in Jürgen Klopp and FSG’s best interests to get their deals over the line quickly to avoid any transfer battles.
Chelsea target player Klopp called ‘world-class’
Chelsea is reportedly looking toward Wilfried Zaha as a potential transfer option this summer, having been left disappointed by Mykhaylo Mudryk’s impact.
Mudryk arrived at Stamford Bridge in a $110m (£88m/€101m) deal in January, but has failed to live up to his hefty price tag so far, with the Ukrainian international still awaiting his first goal for the Blues.
According to GiveMeSport’s Dean Jones, Chelsea is now looking at Zaha as one of its potential transfer targets this summer, with his contract at Crystal Palace set to expire at the end of the season.
Liverpool.com: Zaha has plenty of quality, and he can count Klopp as one of his fans, with the Liverpool boss having described him as “a world-class player” back in 2019. Now aged 30 though, you wonder whether a top club like Chelsea has left it too late to sign him.
Zaha has often been linked with moves away from Palace over the years, but nothing has ever materialized. With his contract expiring this summer, it will be interesting to see what he does next, but this feels like it could be yet more misguided business for Chelsea.
