Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is currently on loan at Galatasaray and the north London club could look to bring him back.

A report from Football Transfers claims that Tottenham are currently holding ‘internal discussions’ regarding the French midfielder and they could look to bring him back in order to add more depth to their squad.

The north London outfit were hoping to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea but the deal has proved difficult so far.

It is no secret that Tottenham need to bring in midfield reinforcements and bringing Ndombele back to the club would be an inexpensive option for them. Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr are away on international duty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with an exit.

The French midfielder has had an underwhelming spell at the Premier League club since joining them in 2019 and he has failed to hold down a regular starting spot under multiple managers.

If Ange Postecoglou is willing to give him ample first team opportunities, the player could be attracted to the idea of playing for Spurs during the second half of the season.

The midfielder has had a mixed spell with the Turkish outfit so far but there is no doubt that he has the technical attributes to developing to a key player for Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see if the Australian manager can get the best out of him.

He was regarded as a world class talent during his time in France and if Tottenham can unlock his true potential, he could solve their midfield problems without any further investment.

The midfielder joined Tottenham for a fee of around £63 million and he has had three loan spells away from the club. He will be hoping to sort out his future permanently and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
