Journalist: confirmed Liverpool has signed  £300,000-a-week player Done Deal Roberto replacement

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have reportedly received a boost in their quest to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Transfers, Liverpool are interested in signing Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

The report has claimed that Bayern are actually open to selling Gravenberch, but they will absolutely not do so until and unless they get a replacemen for the midfielder.

Football Transfers has added that if Gravenberch pushes a move away from the Bundesliga champions, then it could “change all that”.

Liverpool could be able to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich

In our view, Liverpool could be able to sign Bayern Munich and Netherlands international midfielder Ryan Gravenberch in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Transfers, “Bayern have stressed that they will not sell without a replacement”.

Now, this indicates that there is at least some degree of willingness on Bayern’s part to cash in on the 21-year-old midfielder, who is reportedly not happy at the Allianz Arena due to a lack of regular playing time.

After all, if Bayern were absolutely not going to sell the youngster, then they would have been clear in that stance.

So, if Liverpool made a big offer for the £200,000-a-week (The Mirror) midfielder, then they could be able to get a deal done.

Yes, Bayern would want to get a replacement first, but if Gravenberch himself is not keen on spending another season at the German club, then it is hard to see the Bundesliga champions keeping him against his will.

Gravenberch made three starts and 21 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern last season.

Man Utd to hit back at Liverpool with Ten Hag plotting calculated approach for midfield star

Manchester United will ‘almost certainly’ make an attempt to sign Sofyan Amrabat, potentially ‘in the last few hours’ of the transfer window, according to a report.

United have signed three players so far this summer. They began with the snare of Mason Mount, before signing Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.

The latter pair were needed signings, with David de Gea leaving, and a scarcity of central attackers in the United squad. Another seemingly required move is for a holding-midfielder.

After Fred left, and with Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek still potentially to depart, Erik ten Hag will be hoping he can bring in another man in the position; Fiorentina’s Amrabat has been the main name on that list this summer.

Despite that, United have not managed to get the deal over the line yet. Their failure to do so has allowed rivals Liverpool back into the mix.

The Reds have also been in the hunt for a holding-midfielder all summer, making it no secret that was a position of need, attempting to sign Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo – both rejected them – before snaring Wataru Endo.

But they’ve continued to look for another star in the position, and after putting their hat in the ring for Amrabat, it was recently reported they are ‘very close’ to striking an agreement for him.

United are set to hit back, as per Il Tirreno. Their report states United will ‘almost certainly’ make an attempt to sign Amrabat, and could do so in a calculated manner.

Indeed, it’s believed they could come in with an offer ‘in the final days if not the last few hours’ of the transfer window ‘to try to lower the price’.

Of course, that’ll only work out for them if Liverpool, or any other side, haven’t already made the signing. Il Tirreno states the Reds ‘will hardly add another midfielder with these characteristics (a holding-midfielder)’.

That’s contrary to the latest report, so it’s unclear if Liverpool are close to the signing or not. If not, United will hope nobody comes in before the end of the window, so they can make their cheeky attempt at the signing late on.

That could see Amrabat’s price potentially driven down from the £25.5million Fiorentina want to receive.

‘Brilliant, amazing, insane’ – Owen Hargreaves left stunned by Wataru Endo after Liverpool debut

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Liverpool have completed a “steal” of a signing after paying £16million for Wataru Endo.

The Japanese midfielder has joined the Reds on a four-year contract from Stuttgart and adds much-needed depth to the defensive midfield position for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool have so far parted ways with five first-team midfielders this summer, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho the most recent departures, and had only recruited Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai prior to Endo’s arrival on Friday.

Klopp made clear he was “really happy” to get a deal over over the line for the 30-year-old, who was not a name many supporters were familiar with but someone the Liverpool boss revealed he has been keeping a close eye on for quite some time.

Endo earned his first minutes as a Liverpool player in somewhat chaotic circumstances, introduced five minutes after Alexis Mac Allister’s red card, though made a positive impression during the 27 minutes he spent on the pitch.

Of the view the experienced midfielder will prove to be an inspired purchase for the Reds, Hargreaves told Premier League Productions: “He’s not a sexy name, like people wanted, but he is an impactful player. I really like him. He will be a six for them.

“Out of possession he is brilliant, in terms of pressing the ball. He’s amazing in the air considering he’s only 5ft 10, honestly. His vertical, it’s insane. He was captain of Stuttgart, captain of his country. An absolute leader. He cost €20m (£16m) because he was 30 years old and had one year left [on his contract], but I think they’ve got a bit of a steal there Liverpool.”
