£190M star agreed Liverpool move, Reds intent: Report Done Deal

Liverpool target Cheick Doucoure is willing to join the club this summer with Crystal Palace demanding £70M for the midfielder.

The Reds secured an emphatic 2-1 victory on Sunday against Newcastle with drama spewing out throughout the game.

The Merseysiders conceded an early goal and captain Virgil Van Djik got sent off earlier in the first half.

The team continued the game with 10 men and Darwin Nunez scored two goals late in the game and won the game for the Anfield giants.

The midfield had an exceptional game as Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai pressed the opponents consistently.

And as Van Djik got sent off, Wataru Endo proved to be an important piece to defend the Merseyside goal.

However, the team is still lacking bench strength for midfield as 20-year-old Harvey Elliot had to replace 30-year-old Endo.

And as the club intends to sign the fourth midfielder to complete the midfield revamp, the name of Chieck Doucoure is surfacing more and more every day.

🚨 Liverpool are ready to go all out to sign Cheick Doucouré! 😮

Cheick Doucoure to join Liverpool from Crystal Palace

According to a report via Football Insider, Doucoure appears at the top of the priority list of Liverpool.

And the Eagles have set a price tag of £70M for the Mali international and the Reds are willing to pay the hefty fee.

And on top of that the 23-year-old is also eager to join the Anfield giants.

While speaking about the Palace midfielder’s performance against Arsenal this season, former England goalkeeper David James said,

“I couldn’t really remember Arsenal going through the middle of midfield during the game and that was largely due to Doucoure’s level of performance in midfield for Crystal Palace.

When you consider what Liverpool need in that defensive midfield role, then Doucoure could be a good fit.”

The Malian midfielder could be a great addition to this Liverpool team with his willingness to work hard and defend.

And with Mac Allister and Szoboszlai ahead of him, the midfield would become unstoppable, then we can say we are ready to fight for the title. Up The Reds!
