Tottenham first-teamers who have not been in Euro 2024 or Copa America action are expected to start returning on Saturday 6 July, as per football.london.

Now, according to football.london, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is set to include an academy star who has been likened to Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez in his programme.

Jamie Donley set for Tottenham pre-season
The player in question is Jamie Donley, who has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.

The 19-year-old attacker has already made his debut for Tottenham. Indeed, he has made four senior appearances for Spurs.

Last season, Donley made 27 appearances at all levels, registering eight goals and 17 assists. Put simply, he looks ready for a step up.

Football.london have reported that Donley is set to work with Postecoglou and the first team from this weekend onwards as they return for pre-season at Hotspur Way.

The teenager is expected to be involved in the coming friendlies and could even be in the squad for Tottenham’s tour of Japan and South Korea at the end of July.

Donley could potentially go out on loan before the transfer window shuts, suggested the report.

Luton Town, Oxford United, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and Birmingham City are all said to be keeping tabs on the Spurs gem.
