‘THE MOST ANNOYING GUY IN THE WORLD’: ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER MAKES FEELINGS CLEAR ABOUT LIVERPOOL DEFENDER

Alexis Mac Allister has dubbed his Liverpool teammate Konstantinos Tsimikas as ‘the most annoying guy in the world’ on Instagram.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are on a high after beating Wolves 3-1 on Saturday during the early kick-off, with Alexis Mac Allister starting the game.

The World Cup-winning star was subbed at half-time with Liverpool 1-0 down, before the away side, once again, mounted another comeback on the road.

That means after five games, the Reds are unbeaten and sitting third in the Premier League table. Two points behind leaders Manchester City who, to nobody’s surprise, have made a 100% start to the campaign.

Nonetheless, in their downtime, both Mac Allister and Konstantinos Tsimikas seemed to be enjoying their team together, or so it seems.

The former Brighton star hilariously mocked his new teammate via his Instagram story, with the below caption, with Tsimikas responding via his own IG story with just laughing emojis.

Bond growing in Liverpool camp

A number of big players have left Liverpool this summer from captain Jordan Henderson to popular Brazil star, Roberto Firmino.

It means a refresh to the squad and a change in culture and squad togetherness. It needs rebuilding again.

And, so far, the signs are very positive because, as Liverpool fans know too well, if they are to be successful again, then they thrive on that emotion out on the pitch.

Liverpool youngster gets first start among 3 changes by Klopp – team news confirmed for Wolves game

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the Liverpool starting XI for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Wolves.

The Reds return to action following the international break and will be hoping to pick up where they left off, having won their last three matches, with the most recent of those a resounding 3-0 home win over Aston Villa.

Today’s trip to Molineux sees a few alterations from the line-up which began that game 13 days ago, with a mixture of enforced and optional changes.

Alisson Becker is in goal as per usual but there are changes to the composition of the backline ahead of him.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s absence with a hamstring injury sees Joe Gomez move to right-back, with Jarell Quansah coming in for his first senior start for Liverpool to fill the centre-back void alongside Joel Matip, while Andy Robertson starts on the left.

In midfield, it’s the same starting trio as against Villa, with Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szobozslai getting the nod. Ryan Gravenberch is on the bench, as is the returning Stefan Bajcetic.

Up front, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz drop out after both travelled to and from South America for World Cup qualifiers in recent days.

Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo, who both scored twice each for their respective countries on international duty, come in for that duo, with Mo Salah the one forward to keep his place.

Report claims Liverpool are in advanced talks to seal £48 million signing

Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

It appears that Liverpool are currently in advanced talks to sign the defender. According to a report from Ecuadorian outlet Marca90 via LFC transfer room, negotiations are currently advanced for the 21-year-old defender and the deal could cost around £48 million.

Liverpool needed to bring in defensive reinforcements during the summer transfer window but they chose to focus on the midfield instead. They have done well to improve the midfield unit and they must look to plug the gaps at the back now.

Liverpool need to bring in a defender who can operate as a full-back as well. Hincapie certainly fits the profile and he should prove to be a quality, long-term addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are the only reliable central defenders at the club right now. While the likes of Joel Matip and Joe Gomez have been very useful players for Liverpool over the years, their fitness record is unreliable and they have clearly regressed over the past year.
