JUDE BELLINGHAM JUST SENT A TWO-WORD MESSAGE TO NEWCASTLE UNITED PLAYER

After the completion of England’s international fixtures this month, Jude Bellingham referred to Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson as “big bro” on Instagram.

The pair contributed to England’s 1-1 draw with Ukraine in Poland for their Euro 2024 qualifier before defeating Scotland at Hampden last night.

Graeme Souness argued that James Maddison is a ‘much greater player’ than the 20-year-old. Jude Bellingham was the star of the show against the Scots, scoring and assisting during the game, earning him the Man of the Match title.

Callum Wilson had only about 10 minutes of action in both games, with Harry Kane and Gareth Southgate leading the charge.

versus Ukraine, electing to start Marcus Rashford, Conor Gallagher, and Phil Foden.

In any case, the Newcastle United striker is at the top of Southgate’s priority list ahead of Euro 2024 next summer.

There is stiff competition for striker positions, with Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins, and Tammy Abraham missing out on the most recent team due to suspension, form, or injury.

Wilson’s statement to fans following the England tour
“A big performance from everyone in a historic fixture to round off a very good week away!” Wilson wrote on Instagram.

“Back to the Toon for an important month ahead.”

Wilson and Newcastle have qualified for the Champions League.
Wilson and the Toon Army supporters have been waiting for this…Back in St James’ Park for some European nights.

Newcastle has some outstanding and heavyweight matchups coming up, and it’s an opportunity for Wilson to further his prospects of becoming a regular for England.

If he performs well against AC Milan, PSG, and Dortmund, among others, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be heading to Germany next summer, regardless of what happens around him.

How PIF chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan has reacted to Newcastle’s start to the season

It has not been a very good start to the season for Newcastle United.

The Magpies have lost three of their opening four Premier League games, which is staggering considering Eddie Howe‘s side were only beaten five times in total last season.

The fixture list has not been very kind, and that has resulted in Newcastle suffering three defeats on the spin for the first time since Howe became manager.

Newcastle’s tough start is not getting any easier either, with the Champions League due to begin next week away to AC Milan. The Magpies are in the competition’s toughest group alongside the Rossoneri, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

On top of that, Newcastle will soon begin their Carabao Cup exploits where they face Manchester City in Round Three.

The pressure is on Howe to change Newcastle’s recent fortunes, starting on Saturday at home to Brentford.

However, there is no pressure on Howe and his job on Tyneside despite recent results, and a new report has provided details on exactly how Toon chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has reacted to the start to the new season.

Yasir Al-Rumayyan offers his support to Newcastle manager Eddie Howe

According to the Telegraph, Howe has the full backing of PIF chief and Newcastle chairman Al-Rumayyan.

The report states that Al-Rumayyan has responded to the start of the season by asking what he can do to help.

There is no mention on Howe’s answer, but you have to imagine he would ask the chairman for a time machine and some more money to spend in the transfer window!

The report adds that Newcastle signing young players this summer such as Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento was with the long term view that they will grow and develop into better players under Howe’s guidance.

Given the club’s transfer philosophy and the chairman’s backing, it is clear that the decision makers want Howe in charge of the team for a very long time. That is exactly what Toon fans want, as they have been blown away by what Howe has already achieved on Tyneside.

Newcastle have the perfect manager for their project, and it is clear that there will be no knee-jerk reaction to the Magpies’ disappointing start.
