Angry Mohammed Kudus responds to claims that demands are holding up West Ham move as Tim Steidten flies out for Ajax

Angry Mohammed Kudus has responded to claims that demands are holding up a West Ham move as Tim Steidten flies out for Ajax talks.

West Ham fans have been seriously excited by links to brilliant Ajax star Mohammed Kudus.

Earlier this week Fabrizio Romano broke the news that West Ham have ‘opened talks’ for Kudus and – perhaps more significantly – the player wants the move.

The Italian transfer reporter stated Kudus was West Ham’s prime target to replace Lucas Paqueta – who looks to be edging close to a move to Manchester City.

But it has since been claimed that West Ham could sign the attacking midfielder – who can also play as a striker – even if Paqueta remains a Hammers player.

Kudos to Kudus for speaking out

Back in October last year, German outlet Bild – as well as KUMB and us here on Hammers News – reported claims that West Ham were seriously interested in Kudus.

Rumours reignited at the weekend when claims emerged linking West Ham with a move to sign Kudus after a reported transfer to Brighton was called off.

Things have ramped up today if a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna is to be believed.

He exclusively claims West Ham technical director Tim Steidten is heading back to Ajax – with whom he met last week to finalise a move for Edson Alvarez – to thrash out a deal for 23-year-old Ghana star Kudus.

West Ham fans are too long in the tooth to get excited just yet given the club’s dismal transfer conversion rate this summer transfer window.

But there have been concerns a rival club could swoop to sign Kudus with the rumoured deal dragging on in typical fashion.

It comes amid rumours that Kudus and his entourage are making any transfer difficult with what they’re asking for.

But now an angry Kudus has responded to claims that his demands are holding up a West Ham move as Steidten flies out for Ajax talks.

Ajax account The European Lad – which has over 740,000 followers – made the claims about “difficult demands” from the Kudus camp amid talk West Ham are hoping to finalise a deal with Ajax.

But the post was swiftly deleted when Kudus responded by calling the claims ‘BS’.

“Kudus’ entourage is difficult to negotiate with,” the post read.

“So far no club has been able to accept their demands. There was a principle agreement between Ajax and Brighton until Kudus’ management came with more demands.”

Kudus hit back essentially saying the claims were rubbish – you can see the West Ham target’s post below.
