Blow for Pep as Manchester City could be without 4 key players for West Ham clash

West Ham United play host to Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester City are flying right now, and are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, having taken maximum points so far, two points clear of unbeaten West Ham.

Hammers manager David Moyes will be overjoyed with how his squad has started the 2023–24 Premier League season.

Manchester City v West Ham United - Premier League

Pep Guardiola, manager of Man City, will undoubtedly be in the same situation. At times, his team appeared unstoppable.

Prior to this weekend’s game, Pep must deal with some unwelcome news.

Injuries are a major issue for Manchester City ahead of the West Ham match.
On Saturday, a victory for the Hammers might actually move us to the top of the standings.

Even though we all know we have little chance of defeating Man City this weekend, they might be without four crucial players.

Manchester City have big injury concerns ahead of West Ham clash

Kevin De Bruyne is categorically ruled out, while John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, and Jack Grealish are all listed as questionable by Premier Injuries.

At his disposal is a bunch of players that are all incredibly gifted. However, the way his team functions depends a great deal on those four individuals.

If each and every player Moyes chooses is in top form, West Ham can defeat Man City.

They are, in my opinion, the best team in the world, but they are not faultless. Anything can happen if the Hammers force Man City to work harder by coming at them with aggression.

And without several of their key players, the visitors may struggle against an in-form West Ham team at the London Stadium.lacking a lot of their important players.

Mauricio Pochettino could brutally axe 24-year-old in January and he’s perfect for West Ham

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino could try to force West Ham United target out of Stamford Bridge in January.

West Ham have been linked with the Chelsea player on numerous occasions before, and now Mauricio Pochettino could leave the door wide open for Hammers boss David Moyes to sign him.

The summer transfer window slammed shut only a couple of weeks ago, but attention is already turning to January.

Leicester City v Chelsea - Premier League

Trevoh Chalobah was one player West Ham wanted to sign in the summer, but Moyes brought Konstantinos Mavropanos to the London Stadium instead.

The Scot could still do with the addition of another central defender though, with Angelo Ogbonna most likely in his final season with the club and Kurt Zouma always seeming to struggle with some kind of injury.

And with that in mind, the 24-year-old Chelsea ace could be perfect for us…

Mauricio Pochettino wants to sell Chelsea star

According to a report from Football London, Poch is ready to brutally axe Chalobah in the January transfer window.

If this report is indeed true, Moyes should not hesitate to bring him to the London Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to sell Chelsea star

Chalobah is an exceptional defender, and his versatility would make him the ideal January signing for the Hammers.

Described as an ‘incredible’ defender by Football.London, Chalobah is quick along the ground, strong in the air and vitally for David Moyes, he has experience of playing Premier League football.

He is highly experienced in playing at the very highest level of the game for a sustained period of time, and would provide great cover for David Moyes all across the backline.

If Mauricio Pochettino does try to force Chalobah out of Chelsea, West Ham absolutely must sign him as far as I’m concerned.
